CHARLOTTE (DDN) – According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, one person was hospitalized following an incident that partially closed Interstate 485 in west Charlotte on Tuesday afternoon.
On Tuesday, January 28, at around 2:30 p.m., an accident occurred on I-485 Outer, close to mile marker 11.2 in Mecklenburg County.
According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, the right lane was restricted before Exit 10 on I-85. At one time, three of the four lanes were closed.
According to a medic who spoke with Queen City News, one individual was taken to Atrium CMC with critical injuries. QCN contacted the North Carolina State Highway Patrol to obtain additional information.
