As the holiday season revs up, Mankato is getting its sparkle on with Sibley Park transforming into a wonderland of lights, a beamy retreat for those seeking a dash of festive cheer. It’s officially that time of year when the community comes together, stringing up lights and partaking in the seasonal glow, and thanks to the folks over at the
City of Mankato
, Minnesota Government, the park at 900 Mound Ave is now all dressed up for the occasion.
With volunteers and city staff having put in time and effort this past week, the setup for the light show at Sibley Park is a testament to local teamwork. From Friday, November 29, through Tuesday, December 31, residents and visitors alike are invited to drive or stroll through the display. “Admission is free for everyone,” according to the
