, authorities accuse Knezevich of traveling from Miami-Dade to Madrid with the intent to harm his wife, Ana Maria Henao Knezevich. The indictment alleges that he “did willfully and unlawfully seize, confine, kidnap, abduct, and carry away” his wife and subsequently killed her. Ana Maria had reportedly moved to Madrid in December amidst a separation from Knezevich.

Evidence playing a central role in the case has come from new surveillance images and Knezevich’s supposed activities that preceded Ana’s disappearance. As reported by
