The holiday timetable will also affect traditional garbage services. “Garbage, recycling, and yard waste will NOT be collected on Thursday, Nov. 28 and the Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road solid waste scale houses will be closed,” according to a statement that St. Johns County was able to receive. The collection schedule will unavoidably be delayed as a result, with services starting the next day and running one day behind schedule until everything is caught up by Saturday, November 30. On Friday, Nov. 29, residents should anticipate that the scale houses will resume their regular business hours.
