In addition, we thought it would be a good idea to include a stereotype. Research has shown that if one or both partners in a marriage have problems with alcohol, the chances of them getting divorced are three times higher.

Woodinville

Population: 10,945
Divorce rate: 12.3%
Bars per capita: 1st in WA
Liquor stores per capita: 2nd

Woodinville can be considered the city with the most drinking options per person in the state of Washington. Just a reminder, we are measuring the amount of liquor per person. Yes, there are more bars in larger cities. However, Woodinville has a higher number of bars per person.

Seattle

Population: 612,916
Divorce rate: 11.1%
Bars per capita: 9th
Liquor stores per capita: 12th

There are a lot more bars and liquor stores in Seattle compared to other places in the state. While many people go out and have a good time every night, there are also many people who are happy staying at home with their cat.

Port Townsend

Population: 9,106
Divorce rate: 17.6%
Bars per capita: 6th in WA
Liquor stores per capita: 8th

There are many places to drink alcohol along Sims Way in the small working-class city of Port Townsend, which is located on the northeastern tip of the Olympic Peninsula. The state has a high number of bars and liquor stores, both ranking in the top 10. Additionally, the divorce rate is the 9th highest in the state.

Poulsbo
