The variable conditions come with a transition into Wednesday calling for rain, potentially accumulating between a half and three quarters of an inch.

Looking into the second half of the week, a 60 percent chance of rain threads through the consistent cloud cover from Thursday into the weekend, with high temperatures hovering in the mid-50s across most boroughs.
