Surprise, AZ Seeks Civic-Minded Residents to Fill Parks & Recreation Commission Vacancy

Residents of the City of Surprise are being urged to volunteer and give back to their town. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Commission has a position that needs to be filled. With a term ending on June 30, 2025, this is an opportunity for residents to influence the city’s recreational areas and initiatives. This could be your chance to make a difference if you have suggestions for the city’s green areas and ways to keep the locals having fun.

The City of Surprise release states that applications must be received by the quickly approaching deadline of November 29.The application is available on the city’s website for interested and qualified residents of Surprise. Even though the commission positions are unpaid, they provide a chance to enhance outdoor recreation and the community’s quality of life.

A hard copy can be mailed or delivered in person to the City Clerk’s Office at Surprise City Hall. Please be aware that due to Thanksgiving, the offices will be closed on November 28 and 29. Call 623.222.1200 to reach the City Clerk’s office with any inquiries.
