Suspect Lavelle Davis Arrested After Series of Burglaries in Perris, Urge for Public’s Assistance in Ongoing Investigation

Following a spate of burglaries that concerned business owners in Perris, California, Riverside County Sheriff’s officers have apprehended a suspect. Before his arrest on Thursday morning, the suspect—who was identified as Lavelle Davis, 36, of Perris—was wanted. The robbery occurred on Tuesday, October 22, at a neighborhood company located in the 500 block of Indian Hills Circle, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities originally failed to locate Davis despite obtaining video evidence and issuing a warrant. The case broke when someone called to report a burglary at a shop on East State Hwy 74 in Green Acres. After a brief delay, deputies arrived and arrested Davis, who was being held by the shop owner. According to a Riverside County Sheriff’s Department statement, Davis is currently facing numerous counts of burglary and probation violations.
