Yesterday evening, a rollover collision in Orangevale involving suspected drunk driving left four individuals hospitalized. The collision, which happened at approximately 8:49 p.m. close to Chestnut Avenue and Greenback Lane, left three children with minor to serious injuries and one adult critically injured, according to FOX40.

A car that was allegedly being driven under the influence of alcohol crashed on a home’s lawn in the town of Orangevale, which is about 20 miles east of Sacramento. According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the car, which may have been an SUV or van, was badly damaged when it crashed into a tree, with its roof blown off. The driver, who was detained following the collision, was characterized as not having any injuries.

Responders from the same district attempted to free the three youngsters and two adults who were inside the car.Following their release from the wreckage, the adults and children were promptly taken to a nearby hospital, according to KCRA. Since then, the motorist has been arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of DUI.
