Tampa Police Probe After Two Bodies Found off Courtney Campbell Causeway, High Rip Current Advisory Issued

Two distinct bodies found in the waters off the Courtney Campbell Causeway are the subject of ongoing investigations by the Tampa Police Department. On Sunday evening, the first, a deceased black male in his mid-teens, was recovered. The second was discovered yesterday morning and was an adult male Hispanic who was thought to be in his early to mid-30s. There were no “obvious signs of trauma” on either person, according to a Tampa.gov report.
