In order to determine whether prospective deputy cadets are prepared for the demands of law enforcement, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office has once again opened its doors to them and put them through a battery of exams. The procedure started with a briefing from Lieutenant Brittain, a difficult 2k row test, and a written exam intended to assess the candidates’ knowledge and critical thinking abilities, according to a recent social media post from the Sheriff’s Department.
The testing day seems to be part of the Department’s dedication to identifying people who can obey the law and serve the community with honesty, especially in a time when police recruitment is being scrutinized. Although they will have to wait until 2025 for the next Deputy Cadet Testing Day, the testing event, as described by the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office, offers interested persons a chance to become part of the future generation of TCSO law enforcement officers.
Future cadets are encouraged by TCSO to get in touch with the Tarrant County TCSOHires team at [email protected] for more information.
