According to reports, the accident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. yesterday as the teacher was assisting students with the after-school car line. Footage provided by Chopper 6 revealed at least four vehicles involved in the crash, which took place in a pick-up area designated for St. Francis of Assisi students. A statement provided by the Saint Francis of Assisi School to6ABCdescribed the injured teacher, “She is such a fantastic educator and an even better person.” Following an October fire at St. Francis of Assisi School, which saw the destruction of a building, the displaced students were welcomed by St. Kevin School.
