Teen Critically Injured in Shooting at St. Louis Short-Term Rental Party as Police Search for Witnesses

Authorities are investigating a shooting incident after a teenage boy was gravely wounded at a party in a short-term rental home in the 800 block of Russell this past Saturday evening. According to a report from theSt. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, around 10:00 p.m., District 3 officers were summoned following multiple calls reporting shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. They quickly provided first aid until EMS could take over. The teen was then rushed to a local hospital where he is listed in critical condition, attempting to remain stable amidst his injuries. There was a significant police presence at the scene as officers commenced their investigation.
