The efforts to combat human trafficking have found a champion in Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Trooper Kyle Bradley, who recently was honored at the North American Human Trafficking Conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada from October 23-25. According to the

Texas Department of Public Safety news release

, Bradley received the “Be the One” Award—a nod to the indelible impact an individual officer can have in this relentless fight against a pervasive evil.

The award, inspired by survivor and anti-trafficking advocate Meghan Connors, honors law enforcement officers who go above and beyond to combat human trafficking. Trooper Bradley stands out for his diligent work during routine patrols, having identified over 20 victims and arrested many traffickers in the past year. His efforts offer hope in the ongoing fight against human trafficking.

Bradley is deeply committed to fighting human trafficking, having completed a tough training program at the Human Trafficking Training Center in Missouri. The skills he gained there have been essential in identifying both traffickers and victims, directly aiding in the rescue of those trapped in modern-day slavery. His work shows the power of specialized training in combating human trafficking.

Beyond his work, Bradley has inspired his fellow troopers to pursue the same specialized training. His leadership and mentorship have strengthened his department’s ability to identify and convict traffickers.
