Elizabeth Wilson was a housekeeper who worked at the hotel in the 1910s. She was injured in an explosion that happened in Room 217. She managed to survive, but as a result, she now has difficulty walking due to a limp. She kept working at the hotel until she retired. She was known for being nice and helpful to the guests. According to legend, after she died in the 1950s, it is believed that she continues to appear in Room 217. She supposedly cleans the room, unpacks the luggage, and switches on the lights.

The hotel is haunted by the spirits of children who died from a deadly influenza outbreak in the 1920s.
