These States Are Sending Out $1,750 Stimulus Checks – Are You Eligible

Although millions of Americans were able to receive millions of dollars in federal stimulus payments until April 15 of this year, the program terminated in 2021 with no new national projects for 2025.

Nonetheless, a number of states implemented financial aid programs via tax credits, subsidies, and rebates.

Each jurisdiction has different rules, timeframes, and funds for these initiatives, which go into effect in April 2025.

Eligibility is determined by application procedures and tax filing deadlines. I’ll then go over the efforts that have been confirmed in five states, their current situation, and the requirements for access.

Georgia residents are eligible to receive tax refunds

Georgia disburses automatic reimbursements from a 2023 budget surplus. The amounts are $250 for singles, $375 for heads of household, and $500 for couples filing jointly, as specified in the Georgia Surplus Tax Refund program.

Depending on their state income, partial residents receive proportionate payments.

Taxpayers must have submitted their 2023 and 2024 returns by May 1, 2025, in order to have access. After filing, payments are handled in 6–8 weeks.

Those that fulfilled the criteria have either received the monies or are on the verge of receiving them as of April 23.

Colorado: “TABOR” Refunds

Colorado distributes tax surpluses to taxpayers in accordance with the TABOR amendment.

Depending on filing status and adjusted income, the 2024 rebate amounts listed on Colorado TABOR Refunds vary from $177 to $1,130. Payments for those who submitted their returns prior to April 15, 2025, have already been made.

The refund will be given subsequently to anyone who asked for an extension until October 15, 2025. For individuals who selected the relevant option on their tax return, the procedure is automatic.
