When locals dress up in their finest costumes and board boats to celebrate the season, you can see a sort of floating Halloween parade flow down the Ocmulgee River on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

All revenues from the event, which costs $25 to enter but is free to watch, will benefit a local organization that helps those in need of menstrual supplies.

To participate, sign up for the 2024 Macon Witches Float and rent a canoe from Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions; remember to pack a witch hat.
