A tragic sequence of events unfolded in Memphis on Thursday evening as a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended with a lethal crash. According to

, the incident started around 5:03 p.m. when officers attempted to stop the suspect vehicle, a stolen car, which then sped off and eventually collided with several vehicles at Hickory Hill and Knight Arnold before crashing into a pole.
Three individuals in the suspect vehicle were pronounced dead following the collision. A Memphis Police officer was among five others injured in the crash, with all victims taken to the hospital in non-critical condition. Additional information provided by
