Three People Shot in Oakland County on Christmas Eve; Authorities Confirm No Further Danger

A gunshot that occurred on Christmas Eve in Oakland County has resulted in three individuals being taken to the hospital, according to the officials.

Near Oxford High School, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office got a complaint of a significant incident that took place on Ray Road between Lapeer and N. Oxford roads at approximately 6:30 p.m. The event was said to have occurred on Ray Road.

As soon as the deputies arrived, they found out that three persons had been shot.

To receive medical attention for their wounds, all three individuals were transported to the hospital.

It has been reported by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office that the suspect has been brought into custody, and a firearm has been found.

According to a statement sent by the sheriff’s office, “We are requesting that people remain out of the area while the major incident is being processed.” An active crime scene can be found in this region. It has been determined that there is no longer any risk to the general population.

Even though there was a significant police presence at the Meijer store in the vicinity, the authorities stated that the shooting did not take place there; rather, it was merely the staging area for first responders.
