Three suspects were apprehended and face multiple charges in connection with a shooting in Montgomery Village, Maryland. According to the
Montgomery County Police Department
, 20-year-old Terrence Stover of Germantown, 19-year-old Tyriq Roberts Hawkins of Germantown, and a 16-year-old male from Olney have been charged with attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and conspiracy to commit second-degree murder after a 17-year-old male was shot yesterday. The 16-year-old is being charged as an adult. The incident occurred in the 7900 block of Spiceberry Circle.
Officers from the 6th District Community Action Team were in the vicinity when they noticed the suspects’ gray Honda Odyssey parked outside an apartment building. Following the shooting, a pursuit ensued as the suspects fled the scene, leading the officers through neighborhoods and onto I-270 before bailing out of the vehicle at Longdraft and Clopper Roads.

, lifesaving measures were administered to the victim before he was transported to a local hospital. The victim is said to have sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Following the apprehension, suspects Stover, Hawkins, and the unnamed 16-year-old were taken to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
The response to the situation involved coordination between multiple police units, including the 1st, 5th, and 6th District Special Assignment Teams, along with the Gaithersburg Police. The pursuit concluded with a search perimeter that led to the suspects’ capture. All individuals involved are currently being held without bond as they await further legal proceedings.
