Three Suspects Nabbed in San Joaquin Drug Raid; Meth Labs, Fentanyl Busted

SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Cali. (DDN) – Three males were arrested in San Joaquin County this week after a months-long drug trafficking investigation, according to authorities.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office announced on social media that search warrants were served on Wednesday in multiple locations throughout the county, with assistance from the Stockton Police Department, Tracy Police Department, and the county’s Probation Department, resulting in the seizure of a large amount of narcotics and cash.

The suspects were identified as Jose Villegas-Urrea, Jose Garcia-Soto, and Alfredo Contreras Balbuena. Villegas-Urrea was accused with possession of 20 kilograms of meth, fentanyl manufacture, and possession while armed with a handgun.

Garcia-Soto was charged with possessing and manufacturing meth and fentanyl, while Balbuena was charged with marijuana sales, controlled narcotics, and evidence destruction.

The Sheriff’s Office reported that the operation resulted in the seizure of the following:

  • 16,500 “M30” Fentanyl pills,
  • 72 pounds of Methamphetamine
  • 83 pounds of Cannabis
  • Two Pistols

Deputies reportedly seized two meth labs and $5,481 cash.
