BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (DDN) – The Botetourt County Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services is now responding to a significant accident involving three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, on Route 460 in Botetourt County.

There is not much information available, but officials are now trying to clear the scene of a crash that took place in the westbound lane near the intersection at Laymantown Road. The crash involved a tractor-trailer, a dump truck, and a pick-up truck.

The tractor-trailer drove over the guard rail and into a ditch.

Sections of the right lane are closed at the moment. At this time, there is no information available about any injuries.
