Tigers-Pirates game postponed on snowy day in Detroit area
DETROIT (AP) – Tuesday night’s game between the Detroit Tigers and the Pittsburgh Pirates was postponed due to inclement weather.
The game was called up about two hours before the scheduled first field on a snowy day in the Detroit area. The teams will try to play a double header on Wednesday. The first seven innings game starts at 2:10 p.m. (CET) and the second at 6:40 p.m. (EDT)
Michael Fulmer (1-0) will kick off Detroit, and Spencer Turnbull will make his season debut in the second game. Turnbull has recovered from COVID-19.
Tyler Anderson (1-2) is expected to start the season opener for Pittsburgh, with the starter for Game 2 yet to be determined.
