DDN – On Friday, a fiery collision between two vehicles occurred in the westbound lanes of Highway 183 at Amon Carter Boulevard. According to the authorities, one person was killed and another was taken to the hospital after the collision.

Approximately eleven minutes after eleven o’clock in the morning, firefighters were dispatched to the scene of the accident, and officials from the Fort Worth Fire Department stated that the collision involved a truck and a car. During the time of the incident, the police were able to establish that the car was moving in the opposite direction.

Officials told WFAA that spectators observed smoke coming from the hood of the pickup truck and pulled the driver out of the vehicle. After that, the woman was able to escape the truck before it caught fire.

It has been reported by fire officials that the truck’s driver, a woman of approximately forty years of age, was transported to a nearby hospital.

Following the Fort Worth Fire Department, the driver of the sedan, a guy who was approximately 70 years old, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the operation.

At this time, there was no additional information available regarding the crash or the individuals that were involved.
