Tulsa Man Sentenced to Nearly 6 Years for Burglary Spree in Indian Country

U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson said that a man from Tulsa has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for his recent burglary spree in Indian Country. U.S. District Judge Sara E. Hill rendered the decision and ordered a three-year supervised release period and a restitution payment of more than $3,200.

Between 5 and 9:30 a.m. on November 16, 2023, Mark Alfred Foreman, 38, carried out a string of unlawful incursions in Tulsa, breaking into two residences and four automobiles. A statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office claims that Foreman used destructive techniques when committing his crimes. Foreman collided with a fence while being pursued by the Tulsa police, and following a short foot pursuit, a K-9 officer located and apprehended him.

Foreman’s girlfriend also participated in the crime series by helping him out during the spate of break-ins. She was accused and found guilty by the office of the Tulsa County District Attorney. Due to her involvement, she was arrested that same day.

As a member of the Sac and Fox Nation, Foreman will be sent to the U.S. Bureau of Prisons to complete his sentence. The case was brought up by Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Flynn, who prosecuted it after the Tulsa Police Department conducted a comprehensive investigation.
