BEACHWOOD — Two males were detained and a drug enterprise dismantled after a narcotics search warrant was executed at a Beachwood home, according to police.

On July 18, Beachwood police, assisted by the Ocean County SWAT Team, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department, and Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, raided a residence at 233 Beachwood Boulevard and arrested Juan F. Florez-Castano, 32, and Andres Mauricio Restrepo-Gil, 31.

Both males were charged with first-degree maintenance of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) manufacturing facility, second-degree CDS distribution, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Restrepo-Gil has also been charged with third-degree cocaine possession.

The accused were held at the Ocean County Jail for a detention hearing. Authorities stated that the investigation is ongoing and that additional charges may be filed.

Police praised all assisting agencies, particularly Beachwood Code Enforcement, for their contributions to the successful execution of the search warrant.
