Los Angeles, CA – Police are actively searching for a gunman after two individuals were shot near the Target store in downtown Los Angeles on Monday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
Officers were called to the 700 block of South Figueroa Street just before 9 p.m. after reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered two people suffering from gunshot wounds. While the extent of their injuries remains unclear, LAPD officials believe one of the victims may have been a security guard.
The gunman is described as a man dressed in all black, wearing a gray scarf and carrying a gray backpack. Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive behind the shooting or provided details on what led up to the violence.
