Two Suspects Arrested by MPD in Connection with Northwest D.C. Armed Robbery

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has arrested two people in connection with a recent armed robbery in Northwest, D.C. The alleged incident took place on the 2100 block of 9th Street, Northwest, early on November 6 when suspects confronted a victim. The victim claimed that after pointing a gun at them and demanding their possessions, the suspects stole their car. Julius Prince, 22, and Jeremiah Hasty, 18, were arrested as a result of the MPD’s investigation. According to the MPD, they are charged with Robbery and Armed Robbery, respectively.

Northwest, D.C. resident Julius Prince was arrested on Wednesday and is now charged with robbery and carrying a pistol without a license. Detectives investigating the case were also able to capture Jeremiah Hasty of Northeast, D.C., after Prince was arrested. Hasty was charged with Armed Robbery.Following the incident, the MPD issued a statement outlining the accusations against each suspect.
