As emergency personnel responded to the scene, Cleveland EMS rushed the 16-year-old to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the 15-year-old suffered minor injuries, per a statement obtained by

. In the chaotic aftermath of the shooting, a street minister, Tracy Bush, prompted by a past haunted by similar violence, posted a sign near the crime scene, hoping to deter further retaliatory violence.
