Umphrey’s McGee announces pair of outdoor shows at Detroit riverside venue
Umphrey’s McGee brings live music back to downtown Detroit.
The popular jam band will play two shows on May 28th and 29th at Riverside Station Detroit – the new socially distant outdoor concert venue near the former Joe Louis Arena location – as part of their Plan Bee Spring 2021 tour, announced the band on Thursday.
Tickets are sold in groups of four at three price levels: $ 346.15, $ 296.15, and $ 237.15. Extras – there is a limit of six tickets per group – are $ 41.30 each. Tix will go on sale on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. Information is available on the group’s website.
The band will play two sets on both evenings.
Riverside Station Detroit at 701 W. Jefferson will transform a parking lot along the Detroit River into a concert space consisting of private “pods” for 4 to 6 people each. Concessions and merch can be ordered through an app and delivered to each private pod, of which around 400 are housed on the website.
Riverside Station Detroit, operated by Crofoot Presents, is also home to indie rock outfit Mt. Joy on May 7th and Colorado duo Big Gigantic on June 12th.
