Witnesses said a person started taking items from the store. When staff confronted him, he hinted he had a weapon, which allowed him to leave quickly with the stolen goods. Police searched the area and eventually found a 26-year-old man believed to be responsible.

The suspect’s arrest resulted from quick police work. He was taken to Central Booking to face legal proceedings.
