COOSA COUNTY, Ala. (DDN) – An accident that occurred in Alabama resulted in the death of a woman after her vehicle collided with a horse that was standing in the roadway, as stated by the authorities.
On January 14, at approximately 11:40 p.m., the accident took place, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Janice W. Bullard, 63 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on United States Route 231. The accident occurred when the car she was riding in collided with a horse that was standing in the roadway.
In the aftermath of the collision, the authorities said that the vehicle went off the road and collided with a large boulder.
Bullard was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision.
During the collision, both the driver of the vehicle and another passenger sustained injuries and were sent to a hospital.
