Vallejo Community Seeks Answers After Double Homicide Marks City’s 23rd in 2024

Following reports of an injury collision and gunshots, officers were sent to the 100 block of Yorkshire Court on Sunday at approximately 8:55 p.m., according to a press release from the Vallejo Police Department. First responders arrived to find a dark vehicle that had collided with a light pole. Two adult males with gunshot wounds were discovered inside.

The two guys were not saved, according to the Vallejo Police Department. These were the 22nd and 23rd homicides in Vallejo this year, and although the victims received immediate medical attention at the site, they were declared dead. The tragic task of identifying the fatalities has been taken on by the Solano County Coroner’s Office; their identities have not yet been made public until their relatives have been notified.
