, the unidentified assailant entered through a back door and began to rummage through the victim’s belongings. The confrontation quickly escalated into physical violence after the veteran attempted to defend his property.
The circumstances compelled the man to confront the invader, leading to a struggle that was captured on video footage. “There was a tussle, and we actually have video, it’s very sad,” Sheriff William Snyder lamented in a statement obtained by

The altercation would painfully culminate with the veteran being thrown to the ground, sustaining several bruises to his spine and back.
