Wargo Nature Center Unveils Diverse Winter Program Lineup in Minnesota for Outdoor Lovers

The Wargo Nature Center is preparing to offer a variety of seasonal adventures for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages as the chill of December sets in. Participants in the variety of winter events described on November 22nd can enjoy the icy splendor of the season by engaging in winter crafts, wildlife tracking, and snowshoeing.

On December 22, Wargo will host an adaptable and Inclusive Family Winter Recreation Sampler, which is intended “for children with developmental disabilities and their families to try out Wargo’s new winter adaptive equipment,” according to a notice made by Anoka County. This event aims to highlight inclusivity. On the same day, the adventurous can participate in the Winter Recreation Sampler, which offers a variety of strenuous outdoor pursuits and an opportunity to experience Minnesota’s icy terrain without having to bundle up indoors.

Last but not least, the Nature Center has two full-day camps that are ready to provide an exciting educational experience in the middle of winter.
