After a tragic event on the Interstate 5 in Lewis County, the Washington State Patrol is currently looking for witnesses. Around 11:32 p.m. on November 19, two automobiles were engaged in the deadly incident. The Washington State Patrol reported that a red Toyota Camry struck the center median close to milepost 70, rendering it immobile and obstructing the vital left lane of traffic.
Following the original collision, the immobile Camry was struck by a white BMW SUV moving in the same way. The driver of the Camry was forced into the northbound lanes of oncoming traffic as a result of the collision. After that, the Camry was hit by several unidentified cars, seriously injuring the driver. According to the WSP report, it is still unknown if the Camry’s driver was inside or outside the car when he suffered his fatal injuries.
Anyone with knowledge or who may have seen the incident is being asked to come forward by investigators. In order to shed light on the circumstances that led to the Camry’s driver’s death, the Washington State Patrol is asking the public for any pertinent information.
