This Christmas season, get ready to deck the halls at Wheeler Historic Farm, where family can come together to enjoy a wide range of festive activities. Visitors can explore the Holiday Market, which offers a wide variety of handcrafted goods and free admission, during an event advertised by Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation. In the Activity Barn and Education Center, more than fifty local bakers, craftspeople, and artists will showcase their creations.
The Christmas Market will begin on Friday, November 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. and will be open on Saturday, November 30, and Sunday, December 1, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for individuals who want to locate unique Christmas gifts fast while also helping the local economy.
In addition to the market, the farm entertains guests with an evening of winter lights and festive cheer during their Festive Fridays series. Families can take wagon rides encased in the embrace of winter for four Fridays in a row beginning November 29. The countryside is adorned with beautiful tapestries of light.
From 5 to 7 p.m., wagon rides will be offered for $3 per person for children ages two and up. This activity offers a pleasant opportunity to take in the sights gradually and celebrate the holiday mood in a way that reflects the tranquil atmosphere of the farm.
