DDN – Again waking up in my twenties, but with the body temperature of a teenager or early twenties.
Although there are a few snowflakes in the air this morning, the roads are not nearly as treacherous as they were yesterday.
There is a blanket of cold over the region. The upper 30s continue to be below average for highs. There may be some sun peeking through the clouds today, but Thursday seems like it will be much better.
There will be more lake effect snow showers than normal this time of year due to the Great Lakes’ lingering icing over, which means that they will form tonight.
The sun will set at 5:18 p.m.
On Wednesday afternoon, snow showers could be isolated or scattered. The area to the southwest of a line connecting Howell and Detroit could get a light dusting of snow.
Wednesday night should see the coldest temperatures of the week, with wind chills below zero forecast to begin Thursday morning, continuing a pattern of below-average temperatures throughout the week.
Once again, beginning Friday evening, light snow is expected as it moves in from the southwest.
