DDN – A 28-year-old Wisconsin man died from injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash on December 30, 2024.
According to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, Elroy Hendrickson, 28, of Wausau, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash near the intersection of State Highway 52 and County Road X in Wausau.
There were no further injuries reported during the event, which stopped State Highway 52 for almost four hours.
According to the announcement, the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office received notification from the Marathon County Medical Examiner’s Office that Hendrickson died as a result of his injuries.
The incident is still under investigation. There are no more details available.
