The Wisconsin Department of Transportation advises extra caution when driving near snowplows, such as staying at least 200 feet behind a functioning plow and taking care if you decide to pass one.
Snowplows frequently create clouds of snow, which can reduce vision, and the circumstances in front of the plow are likely to be worse.
