Woman Charged with 17 Counts in West Bloomfield Robbery Series

In the wake of multiple armed robberies in the Township on Wednesday night, Molly-Kathryn Omalley Malczynski, a resident of West Bloomfield, is charged with seven armed robberies, eight felonies involving firearms, and one count each of firing a weapon inside a building and carrying a concealed weapon.

According to police, Malczynski’s night began at approximately 8:30 p.m. when she entered the Twin Beach Market on Green Lake Road and took advantage of the clerk.

Other businesses in the City of Orchard Lake and West Bloomfield also called 9-1-1 to report armed robberies that had recently occurred. purportedly all by the same individual of interest.

One caller indicated that Malczynski was the source of at least two gunshots, and the caller came from the CVS Pharmacy at 6070 W. Maple Road.

She was taken into custody in the West Bloomfield CVS parking lot not long after that. According to the police, nobody was hurt throughout her string of robberies.

On September 7, Malczynski, 36, was arraigned on the fifteen offenses. She has a $75,000 bond in custody. She is being held in the Oakland County Jail at the moment.
