A woman has some big plans after hitting a big prize on a new State Lottery scratch ticket.

According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Vanesa Menijvar Acosta of Norcross, GA is the first $2 million prize winner in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s new “$25,000,000 Mega Money” instant ticket game that went on sale Tuesday, May 13.

She chose the cash option on her prize and received a one-time payment of $1,300,000 (before taxes). Menjivar Acosta plans to buy a house and go to college with her winnings.

The ticket, which was a gift from her father, was purchased at East Boston Corner Market, 233 London St. in East Boston. The store will receive a $20,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.

The “$25,000,000 Mega Money instant ticket includes three more instant prizes of $2 million, and three grand prizes of $25,000,000. The game’s Second Chance Drawings will include up to ten drawings during the sales period of the game. In each of the Second Chance Drawings, players will have the opportunity to win second chance prizes ranging from $100 to $50,000.
