Youngstown Accident Leaves Yard Damaged and Home Struck, Driver Cited by Police

DDN – Two cars crashed Friday afternoon near W. Indianola Avenue and Colfax Street in Youngstown.

The collision did not result in any injuries; nevertheless, a utility pole was sheered off, although no households in the area lost electricity.

One of the automobiles involved crashed through the yard and into the side of a house on Indianola Ave.

According to YPD police on the scene, the accident occurred when one of the vehicles’ drivers ran a stop sign. Officers stated that the motorist was cited for the crash.
