Missouri Crash Kills Toddler After Rollover; Infant Survives Without Injuries in Crash near Jefferson City

HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. (DDN) – It was stated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol that a deadly collision occurred on Wednesday morning, and that it involved a toddler and an infant who was younger than one year old.

The Massachusetts State Police reported that a guy, age 29, was operating a 1998 Ford Explorer on the US 54 exit ramp leading to Simon Boulevard at approximately seven in the morning on February 12.

It was a tree that caused the automobile to flip over when it slipped off the side of the road and collided with it. According to the MSHP, none of the passengers were restrained by seatbelts or using any other safety measures. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was sent to a local hospital; however, his passenger, who was three years old, passed away at the scene of the accident due to her injuries.

A young girl who was involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries.

Neither the driver nor the two children were made aware of the bond that existed between them. Whether or whether charges are being considered in this instance is not entirely clear.

The town of Holts Summit may be found around ten minutes to the north of Jefferson City in the state of Missouri.
