According to the police, a woman is accused of randomly stabbing a 3-year-old boy to death outside a grocery store in Ohio. According to the North Olmsted police, a boy named Julian and his mother, Margot Wood, were stabbed in the parking lot of a Giant Eagle in North Olmsted, which is about 15 miles outside of Cleveland. The incident happened around 3 p.m. on Monday.
According to the police, Julian was stabbed in the back and cheek. According to the police, Wood, who is 38 years old, survived the incident with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The police said that they arrested a person named Bionca Ellis, who is 32 years old. According to North Olmsted police Det. Sgt. Matt Beck, Ellis and the victims were not acquainted with each other. He described the incident as a “random act of violence” during a news conference on Tuesday.

According to Beck, Ellis got a kitchen knife from a store and went to the Giant Eagle. There, she saw Mrs. Wood and her son and followed them to the parking lot. According to Beck, Ellis then reportedly attacked the mother and son near their car while Julian was sitting in the shopping cart.
“I can’t even imagine how much this family is suffering from this loss,” said North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones at the news conference on Tuesday. “I, along with the city, also feel the sadness of your loss.” According to Beck, Ellis was accused of committing aggravated murder. Beck said that more charges will be filed.
