Florida Livestream Leads to Safe Recovery of Missing Michigan Teen

After happening upon a livestream, a 17-year-old who had been missing from Michigan for almost two months was located safe in Miami.

On May 21, the Flint Township Police Department made a post on Troy Coleman’s abduction. The department reported that he was found in Miami on Thursday.

Coleman was observed approaching Clix and Lacy, two streamers. One of the family members emailed Lacy to report that they had seen Coleman on their livestream. Coleman, according to the family member, has schizophrenia.

Lacy then posted the message on X, the platform that was once known as Twitter, with the intention of finding a way to get him back to his family.

FaZe Lacy wrote on X on Thursday, saying, “We got into contact with his brother and told him what hotel he said he was staying at on stream. He has been found and placed in a holding cell in Miami until he gets transferred back to Michigan with his family. The power of the internet is insane thank you guys.”
