DDN – In Cherokee County, Texas, on Wednesday morning, there was a major head-on collision that involved semi-trucks. The occurrence was reported.
According to the authorities, the collision took place on January 8 at approximately 9:40 a.m. on Highway 79 West in Texas, a short distance from the boundary between Cherokee and Anderson counties.
A head-on incident involving two 18-wheelers and an SUV occurred on the Neches River Bridge, according to CBS19. The crash affected all three vehicles.
At least one person has been reported to have passed away.
Currently, Highway 79 is closed, and traffic is being redirected via FM 747, as stated by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office – Texas.
