Suspect in family members Killing in Pennsylvania arrested in New Jersey after standoff with SWAT

According to officials, there were two shootings in Falls Township, Pennsylvania on Saturday morning, resulting in at least three deaths. The suspect has been arrested after being barricaded inside a home in New Jersey for several hours. Initially, the suspect had hostages.

The police in Falls Township were called to a shooting at Viewpoint Lane just before 9 a.m. According to NBC News, Andre Gordon, who is 26 years old, entered a house and shot and killed three members of his family. The victims were his stepmother, Karen Gordon, who was 52 years old, and his sister, Kera Gordon, who was 13 years old.

This information was confirmed by Bucks County District Attorney Jennifer Schorn. There were several other people, including a young person, inside the house and they were hiding. The suspect later went to a house on Edgewood Lane in Levittown and fatally shot a 25-year-old woman, who is the mother of his two children.

The person believed to be the shooter reportedly stole a car from a man outside a Dollar General store on Bristol Pike in Morrisville. They then drove the stolen car to New Jersey. He was discovered in the state at 11:38 a.m. and took hostages at a home in Trenton, barricading himself inside. The residents inside the home in New Jersey have been evacuated and are safe, according to law enforcement officials who spoke to CNN. The SWAT team members were present at the location on Saturday afternoon.

“According to Trenton Police Detective Lt. Lisette Rios, the suspect is thought to be in a house located on Phillips Ave in Trenton.” “All the people living there have been safely moved out without any injuries. Currently, the FBI is waiting and ready to assist. The ATF, NJSP, Mercer County Rapid Response Team, Mercer County Homicide Task Force, and Trenton Police Department are also present at the scene.

The police in Middletown Township said that the person they suspect of being the gunman is thought to be homeless. They have connections to both Bucks County and Trenton, but they mainly live in Trenton. The suspect in the two shootings was carrying a weapon called a “AR-15 style assault rifle,” according to CNN. The suspect may also have other weapons.
