Urgent Rescue Missing Teen Found Trapped in Colorado Storm Drain

After being found in a storm drain by local law enforcement, a 15-year-old Colorado boy with a developmental handicap made his way back home without incident.

Donnel “Tupac” Tolliver was reported missing at 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, and the Aurora community came together to hunt for him. Collaborating with locals, a number of Colorado law enforcement organizations, including the state Bureau of Investigation, “rally the troops” in the hunt for Tolliver.

“Each team’s efforts were crucial and greatly appreciated,” the police stated on social media.

Tolliver was discovered by authorities caught in a storm drain on Monday at around 12:30 p.m.

Tolliver was seen in police bodycam footage standing in a sizable storm culvert behind a closed steel grate while firefighters and law officials attempted to securely extract him.

“Are you thirsty, buddy?” In the video, the adolescent is heard being questioned by authorities. “I got a protein bar for you.”

After releasing Tolliver with the use of bolt cutters, the authorities transported him to a local hospital for further assessment.

“This was truly a team effort, and we appreciate everyone who played a vital role in safely locating (the child),” police stated.
