These 7 Cities Becomes the Most Unhealthy Cities in Entire US

When it comes to our health, we can do our best to improve the things we have control over. However, there are times when there are factors that we can’t control that work against us. It’s important for people to try to stay active and eat healthy, but if they breathe in dirty air while walking or can’t afford to buy nutritious food, they may not see as many benefits from their efforts. One important factor that affects health is the quality of water. This is a list of American cities that have the most contaminated water.

There are certain things that affect health, like socioeconomic conditions, health care infrastructure, and environmental characteristics. These things are similar in many cities in the U.S., but they can vary and lead to differences in health outcomes in different urban areas.

To find the 25 cities in the United States that are the least healthy, we looked at data from the 2023 County Health Rankings & Roadmaps program of the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute at the county level. The ranking of metropolitan areas was determined by using an index that included eight health measures. These measures included factors such as potential life lost, smoking rate, and the percentage of people reporting fair or poor health. The data used for this ranking was obtained from the CHR. A total of 384 metro areas were taken into account.

Most of the cities with the worst health conditions are located in Southern states. This includes five cities in Louisiana, five cities in West Virginia, and three cities in Alabama. There are two in Florida, two in Georgia, and two in South Carolina. Four cities from states in the Midwest are also ranked as being among the least healthy. However, no states from the Northeast or the West are included in the list.
